Improving Town Services

Established a more efficient, more customer friendly and handicapped-accessible Town Hall. |

Worked with the Branford Festival Committee to purchase a quality stage, used for the Festival, High School graduation, and summer concerts. |

Hired the first town Youth Outreach Worker to engage disenfranchised youth and provide activities, services and direction to discourage them from getting into trouble. |

Acquired new software for the Tax Collector’s and Assessor’s Offices, improving the efficiency and consistency of tax assessments and collection. |

Established a Town web site, the first municipal web site in the country with the “.gov” signature. The web site contained information about building codes, zoning and inland wetland regulations, and provided residents with the ability to download application forms, saving trips to Town Hall. |
